STRATEGY for the FUTURE

Strategic FMDX to solve current
and future challenges

By combining human hands and knowledge
with robotics and AI technology,
we can shine a whole new light
on the path to solving problems――.
GLOBESHIP utilizes FMDX Facility Management × Digital Transformation which incorporates technology
with human expertise,
to visualize and solve future issues
that have yet to unfold.

WHY FMDX? Why do we need FMDX

FMDX.
This is a vision for leading all businesses in the best direction by combining the superior problem-solving ability of humans with the convenience of AI and robotic technology.

FM (Facility Management) is a tactic for making the most effective use of the resources and facilities you have.
DX (Digital Transformation) is the transformation created by the proliferation of information technology.

By combining these two approaches, FMDX helps solve various problems, including labor shortages, steering businesses to their optimal form.

With a declining birthrate and an aging population,
Japan will continue to face a shortage of human resources

The shortage of human resources in Japan has already become a major social problem, and this trend is expected to become more serious in the future.

In 2022, according to a nationwide survey of companies, 47.7% of companies (28.5% for non-regular employees) felt there was a shortage of full-time employees*.
*See Teikoku Databank Ltd., “Survey of Corporate Attitudes toward Eliminating the Labor Shortage (July 2022)”.

The shortage of human resources is directly related to the rising cost of labor, and it is not uncommon for workplaces to fall into a “negative spiral” where the shortage of human resources accelerates due to costs. In addition, the shortage of human resources has also created new problems for companies, such as a decline in service quality.

GLOBESHIP FMDX offers more than problem solving

The FMDX proposed by GLOBESHIP reduces manpower (i.e. reduces costs) by maximizing the use of AI and robot technology. In addition, by concentrating the abilities of valuable human resources on important tasks, it leads directly to an improvement in the quality of services.
From human-only work to collaboration with the latest digital technology. From human resource shortages to increased profits, we provide one-stop comprehensive solutions to your company's diverse issues.

MISSION Pursuit of convenience and creation of new value

Various data obtained from a variety of sensors, cameras, devices, and other sources are utilized at worksites in fields such as building management, cleaning, and security.
GLOBESHIP's FMDX promotes the integration of such individual sets of data, aiming to provide more efficient and high-value services.

GLOBESHIP's vision for the future

The ability to view multiple data sets on a single platform will enable a more accurate and less expensive form of facility management and operation. New insights generated by seamless data analysis will also be useful in solving social issues such as energy conservation, SDGs, decarbonization, and ZEB.

By linking people, things, equipment, and conditions that respond to changes in the environment with DX content, we can create smart buildings and offices that maximize facility functions, management functions, and user performance. We also conduct surveys at each customer's facility to determine the process and timing of the digital transformation of buildings from the concept of maintenance using sensing technology, and make appropriate proposals.

By forming alliances with specialized businesses, we have established a system that can provide one-stop services ranging from labor and energy saving in FM management to converting entire buildings to smart buildings.

SOLUTION Specific initiatives

FMDX is an initiative that aims to create a more comfortable and smarter society through collaboration between humans, AI, and robots.
Part of this initiative has already started and is gradually taking root not only in our own business but also in the companies and organizations of our clients.

Here we introduce the features and functions of Whiz and Aeolus, two types of robots that are actually in use at work sites.
